Knit in a front room in Victoria
Wren & Wool is one person, one armchair by the window and a basket that never empties. I started knitting hats for my nieces and never really stopped.
The wool comes from a small dye studio on Salt Spring Island, and every piece is knit by hand, one at a time. A hat takes an evening; a baby blanket takes most of a month.
In the fall I pause orders to knit for the winter markets. Thank you for waiting.

How do I wash wool?
Hand wash in cool water with wool wash, press out the water in a towel and dry flat.
Will it be itchy?
The island wool is soft, but very sensitive skin may prefer our merino blend.
Can I order a custom size?
When orders are open, yes — tell us the size in the order notes.
